Didcot Mandarin founded in 2023, offers fun, engaging Chinese lessons for children of all ages and levels in Didcot and the surrounding areas.
We create a relaxed, supportive environment where kids can develop a love for the Chinese language and culture. Our interactive lessons use games, stories, songs, and traditional Chinese poems to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or already learning Chinese, we’re here to support their journey with creativity, care, and cultural connection.

Hello 你好！
My name is Xin, a native Mandarin speaker originally from mainland China, now living in the UK. I’m a qualified International Chinese Language Teacher with many years of experience, and teaching is truly my passion. There’s nothing I enjoy more than helping my students grow, develop their skills, and achieve their language goals.
Many people think learning Chinese is difficult, but I believe that with perseverance and the right methods, anyone can succeed.
For beginners—especially children, I advocate learning through play. By using fun and engaging classroom activities and games, I help children stay motivated and naturally absorb the language in an enjoyable way.
In our lessons, we’ll develop skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing—progressing from simple to more complex content step by step. My goal is not only to teach the language itself, but also to help students gain a deep appreciation for Chinese culture.
